My youngest is 3 today. It's gone by so fast and knowing that she is my last I have tried to slow down and enjoy every minute. Sometimes I have been succesful but most days she has me running and I can't keep up. She is by far the most adventurous of my 3 kids and I know she will go far. I just hope I can keep up.
Summer is definitely in full swing and the beach family sessions are booking up. Make sure to reserve your today before it's too late!
I must admit that I was slightly nervous about photographing 4 boys at the beach. You can imagine the possible chaos that could have ensued. Luckily they were a ton of fun and ready for anything. I will say that Mom deserves a medal because I know with 3 of my own she must be worn out at the end of the night. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek with more to come soon!
Now that Spring is slowly turning into Summer I am starting to book up my beach sessions. I love the colors in these clothes and they would be perfect for beach pictures. Check them out and book you summer family session today!!
This past weekend I had the most wonderful opportunity. I flew to Phoenix, AZ to be mentored by the super talented Keri Doolittle of Keri Doolittle Photography in Denver, CO. We spent the day together Friday pouring over some business stuff and then got to do a session with two gorgeous models. Here is just a quick sneak peek with more to come soon from this session, a wedding AND a newborn!
Kaia and I went on a quest to find a meadow full of yellow or purple flowers to take some pictures and just get out and enjoy the weather after the rain we had yesterday. Unfortunately our hunt for Spring flowers was unsuccessful but we did manage to have a great time on the swings enjoying the California sunshine.
I love high school seniors! They are pretty much up for trying anything and Adriana was no exception. I had the pleasure of photographing her in Orange, CA and I think we captured some gorgeous images. But that isn't very hard when your subject is beautiful. Thanks Adriana I hope you love them!
Recently I posted about a wonderful clothing company that we were doing some work for, Loves Me Not, with some images from their new line. With the beautiful (and HOT) weather we are having in Southern California I thought it was timely to post a few more the gorgeous Spring line that is on sale now!
I am often asked by clients what they should wear for a session. I always stress that you should dress like yourself and how you are comfortable with just a little more oomph. It always best for families to wear coordinating as opposed to matching colors and feel good in what you wear. Remember that these images will be hanging on your wall for years to come. You want to look like YOU only better! With that said I am planning to post a Fashion Friday blog post once a month to give people a some suggestions of outfits that coordinate well.
I love people in love and these two are crazy in love (does that make sense??). Just hearing the story of how they met and fell in love and knew they were right for each other made me happy and so excited to be doing their engagement pictures. We had so much fun at the Japanese Gardens in Long Beach. Randi told me that Marc is the water to her fire and I don't think she could have described it any better. You two are fun, wild and beautiful. Thank you for letting me share this day with you.
LOOK AT YOUR MAN RANDI!!
LOVE THE SHOES!!!
I was honored recently to have the opportunity to photograph some of the Spring 2010 line for a boutique line of clothing, Loves Me Not. This is just the first of one so make sure to check back often and see the rest of the beautiful pieces that will be for sale soon.
This was a session that was a long time coming. Due to illness and weather we had to reschedule a few times but finally I was able to meet this great family and take their pictures. Not only is this family fun and beautiful but the location where we held the session was breathtaking and gave us some lovely background. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I can't wait to show you the rest!
You may remember this adorable face from a session I did back in November. Well cute Kelly is back and fun as ever. This little man had the best time trying to scare me and tackle me to the ground. He is definitely all boy! Enjoy Mom and Dad!!
These gorgeous kiddos were full of energy and kept me and their Mommy on our toes. They loved all the paths and piles of dirt and had such a blast playing in it. Even the little bit of rain that came down didn't slow them down. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
These super cute cousins were so much fun. Miss Bella was great at taking direction and we instantly because friends when she saw my candy. Landon was such a trooper and hung through to the very end. This is just a quick blog post for the family since the gallery is almost done!
Another gorgeous family at another fun location. These girls are so adorable and Mom dressed them so well. We had a lot of fun taking these and I can't wait to show them the rest.
Another fun family and another great location! Although it was cold we stuck it out and got some awesome photographs. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
This gorgeous family picked an awesome spot for their pictures. We did a little hiking down a trail and found the most awesome natural backdrops to work with and these little girls were absolutely a joy to photograph. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
I have known Bella since the day she was born and she and my son have grown up together and are the best of friends. It was such a treat to photograph her. She showed me some mad modeling skills and was so much fun. Enjoy!
This session was so much fun! It consisted of a brother and 3 sisters and their families. You can tell they really get along well and I don't need to tell you that they are GORGEOUS! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I think the parents/grandparents are going to love them!
