I just love second shooting!  It gives me a chance to take a step back and enjoy the wedding day process and shoot some images that I wouldn’t always get as the main.  I love the details, hanging with the guys and trying out different angles that the main shooter isn’t able to see or capture.  Chris and Julie were married last month at a beautiful new winery in Temecula, Europa Village.  Everything was done to perfection with the classically vintage place settings and florals.  Chris and Julie’s adorable son and daughter were even part of the wedding and even had fun on the dance floor.  Thank you to BellaGraceLynn Photography for asking me to assist, I love shooting with you!

I couldn’t wait to share the beautiful golf course wedding of Sean & Jenny.  I was thrilled when Shanna Kreza of Shanna Kreza Photography  asked me to second shoot for her.  The details were amazing and I had a great time with the groom and groomsmen as they got ready for the big day.

It rained the day before Kevin & Leah’s wedding and fingers were crossed for a sunny day.  We weren’t let down.  What a gorgeous wedding and beautiful day that fit perfectly with the bright and colorful yellow themed wedding.  I have been fortunate enough to get to know Leah & Kevin and their family very well over the past 6 months.  I have shot their engagement wedding, a family holiday session and Leah’s bridal shower.  Getting to know everyone so well really has been special for me and I look forward to sharing many more milestones for them.  Best wishes to you both and enjoy your honeymoon!

I love a first look

What can I say about Daniel & Kristen’s wedding!  It pretty much had everything…rad shoes, rain, a horse drawn carriage and a Haunted Mansion styled reception.  The day started off very ominous with grey clouds and heavy rain on and off but it didn’t dampen Daniel & Kristen’s spirits.  A Disneyland Fairytale wedding was their dream and nothing was going to stop it from coming true.  They traveled from New Mexico and couldn’t wait to be husband and wife.  The clouds broke a few hours before the ceremony so it went on as planned.  Daniel first laid eyes on Kristen being carried in the Cinderella carriage.  And she looked just like a princess.  A few minutes into the ceremony the rain started pouring down so all the guests joined the bridal party in the gazebo for the remainder of the ceremony.  It was so intimate, I don’t think they could have planned it any better.  I told Kristen & Daniel that rain on your wedding day is lucky and I think for this fun couple I might just be right.

I love the opportunity to second shoot at a new venue!  Lake Oak Meadows is a gorgeous lakeside estate in Temecula with no shortage of beautiful spots for photos.  What makes it even better is a having a fun couple like Kyle and Breanne that are up for anything.  Thank you again to Carey Clay of BellaGraceLynn Photography for the chance to be there with you!
