Kevin & Christina are married | Seal Beach Wedding Photographer | Old Ranch Country Club

Kevin & Christina were married in Seal Beach at Old Ranch Country Club.  Another beautiful wedding that I had the great fortune to be second shooting for my friend Kaysha Weiner of Kaysha Weiner Photography.  Such a stunning wedding and fun reception with guests that traveled all the way from Japan!  Congrats to the happy couple and best wishes for a lifetime of happiness.

Tom & Judy are married | Walnut Grove Wedding Photographer | Tierra Rejada Ranch Wedding

I love the opportunity to second shoot with a new photographer.  I always learn something new and the best part is I get to meet some cool new people.  So when I had the opportunity to shoot with the awesomely talented Heidi Ryder I jumped at the chance.  I love Heidi’s style and was so honored that she chose me for Tom & Judy’s wedding.  I won’t do much talking because I think the pictures will show for themselves what a gorgeous wedding this was.  The location, Tierra Rejada Ranch in Walnut Grove is amazing.  There are so many cool areas to shoot and the woodsy feeling is a photographers dream.  Tom and Judy were such a fun couple and open to anything which always makes it fun.  Judy’s style is amazing and I just loved all their perfect details.  Thank you again Heidi for having me a part of this beautiful day and I hope to work together again!

Mike & Jessica are married | Laguna Hills Wedding Photographer | The Hills Hotel

Have I ever mentioned how much I love to second shoot at a wedding?  Well I do!  When I am able to second shoot I get to focus on the details and get the extra shots that the main photographer isn’t going for and sometimes the best part is hanging with the guys!  The groom and groomsmen usually have a lot of downtime before a wedding since it takes them all of 15 minutes to get dressed and ready so it gives them the opportunity to catch a game on TV, play some pool or just have a few drinks.  All of these things can make for some fun images and I always have a great time with them!  When my friend Tim of Tim Wheaton Photography asked me to second shoot Mike & Jessica’s wedding I couldn’t wait.  I got to spend time with the guys at one of the groomsmen’s house and as usual it was a fun time and I think we captured some great images for them to remember the day.  Thanks again for the opportunity to shoot this wedding with you Tim and best wishes to Mike & Jessica for a long and happy marriage.

These beautiful classic cars were on loan to the bride and groom for pictures and their grand exit.  Awesome!

Jessica gave Mike this beautiful card.  I know he will be keeping it close to his heart forever.

I love Mike’s excitement!

Ryan & Brooke are married | Newport Beach Wedding Photographer

When my good friend Shanna of Shanna Kreza Photography asked me to help shoot the wedding of her gorgeous sister Brooke I was thrilled to do it.  I was even more excited when I found out that it would be a beautifully intimate ceremony for their closest friends and family on the beach in Crystal Cove.  The day was perfect, not too warm and definitely not too cold and as you will see from the end of this post the sunset was to die for.  Thank you again to Shanna for asking me to be part of Brooke and Ryan’s day and best wishes for a long and happy marriage to you both!

Normally I would only ever include one sunset shot but I just couldn’t pick between these two so you get both. :)

Brad & Laurel are married | Corona Del Mar Wedding Photographer

When Laurel contacted me earlier this year about her wedding I couldn’t wait to meet and discuss the details.  Brad & Laurel met 6 years ago in school to become hairdressers.  Neither one followed that path but it’s been love ever since.  When Laurel and I first met I knew this wedding was going to be very different than anything I have shot before.  The relaxed bohemian vibe of the day was very important to them both and music played a prominent part in their ceremony and reception.  The details from the wedding that were provided by Leslie at Pixie’s Petals was a perfect compliment to Brad & Laurel’s style and brought it all together.  Thank you both for making me part of your day, I wish you the best for a long and happy love life.
