Two words to describe Matt & Jessica…fun and energetic! Matt and Jessica knew two things about their engagement session. They wanted it to be fun and playful and they wanted to incorporate football. Matt plays for the Indianapoliss Colts so it was a sure thing that we would have some fun with his football and as you will see from the end they even incorporated the theme into their Save the Date pictures! It rained the day before Dave & Nicole’s session and if you know Southern California you know that it doesn’t rain all that often. So we kept our fingers crossed and hoped for good weather and the next day the skies were beautiful and perfect for a beautiful engagement session. Dave & Nicole recently moved back to the area after living in Denver so when we were planning their pictures we thought something beautiful and outdoorsy would be great for them. We settled on the San Juan Capistrano area which I think was perfect for them. I hope you love your sneak and I am looking forward to your wedding in just a few short months.
When we were planning Sean & Kate’s engagement session they knew they wanted something in San Juan Capistrano since that is where they live and grew up nearby. We decided to start in Dana Point by the Harbor. It was a holiday weekend so there was no shortage of people which made us get a little creative in the different spots we shot at. Then we moved on to the beautiful and even more popular Los Rios District in SJC. I had been eager to shoot at a nearby field that was full of gorgeous yellow spring flowers and I was thrilled that Sean & Kate indulged me and went along with it. When I met Randy & Rachelle a few weeks ago they were eager to get their engagement session done and Rachelle knew that she wanted to do it around Valentine’s Day. Once we had the day set the next was finding a perfect location for these two. Rachelle had visited Orfila Winery in San Diego before and loved the look of this quaint winery so we decided to start there and then love on to beautiful Solano Beach to finish up. It was a beautiful day and I had so much fun with both of you. I can’t wait for your wedding in July!
I met Terrance & Syreeta last year and when I heard about their upcoming wedding at The Center Club in Costa Mesa I was excited to be their wedding photographer. When we scheduled their engagement session Syreeta was very sure about the type of location she wanted. She loves candy and colorful locations so we started off at Rocket Fizz in Pasadena. If you are looking for any type of candy you can probably find it there and the decor is fun and nostalgic. Then we headed to Pasadena City Hall for some beautiful architecture and the rose garden. Our last stop was Old Town Pasadena near Colorado street. I had a great time with both of you and hope you love your images!
