I love when a couple comes to me with a definite idea of how they see their engagement images and find the location that suits them perfectly. Laura had a very clear vision of her engagement session and I was thrilled when she suggested Union Station in Los Angeles followed by Olvera Street. Both locations suited them so perfectly and we had the best time exploring and finding different spots to get some beautiful images. I had the best time with the two of you and my new assistant George (Laura’s handsome son). Kevin & Leah are engaged | Pasadena Wedding Photographer

When I met Kevin & Leah earlier this year I knew that we would be a good fit. They were such a sweet and warm couple and I was thrilled when they asked me to be their wedding photographer. I always ask my couples to pick a location that is special or speaks to them as a couple. Leah and Kevin did a lot of research and put time and effort into choosing the location where we shot their pictures and I am so excited they did. We started at Pasadena City Hall which has amazing architecture and a beautiful courtyard garden and then moved on to a fun little area of downtown Pasadena. I know that Kevin & Leah were nervous about being in front of the camera but after a few minutes they were naturals and we had a great time! Jasson & Marcella are engaged | Anaheim Wedding Photographer

I was so excited when Marcella contacted me about her wedding in September. Her and Jasson were planning their wedding at the beautiful Villa Del Sol venue in Downtown Fullerton which is one place I have always wanted to shoot a wedding. Fortunately last month I had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding there and just seeing it all done up for a wedding made me even more excited for their day. When we discussed where they wanted to do their engagement session they mentioned that there is an area in Anaheim Hills where they like to go hiking. I love when a couple wants to do their session at a location that is near and dear to them and this place was perfect. I think the images we got really captured their love. Toby & Sara are engaged | Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim engagement | Anaheim Wedding Photographer

The way I came upon Toby & Sara was not the best situation. My good friend Shanna of Shanna Kreza Photography was hired by Toby & Sara to shoot their August wedding and unfortunately she was put on bed rest so she asked me to help out. When she told me that their engagement session was being held at Angels Stadium I was more than thrilled. See I was born and raised in Anaheim and grew up a big Angels fan so the opportunity to shoot an engagement session on the field and in the dugout was a huge honor. Thankfully Shanna and her baby are doing well and I am glad I could meet Toby and Sara. I am looking forward to their wedding in a few short weeks!

We then moved down the road to The Orange Circle for a few more shots before wrapping it up for the day!

Tim & Mia are engaged | San Juan Capistrano Photographer

Tim & Mia’s wedding was the first one I booked for the 2011 summer season and I have been looking forward to their engagement session since then. Mia had a definite idea of the type of style she wanted for her images and I couldn’t wait to make it happen. We talked about some different locations but the Historic Los Rios District in San Juan Capistrano was always in the back of my mind as the perfect location. I absolutely love the end result and I really think we captured Tim & Mia and their awesome sense of style and long time love (since elementary school!).
