Trevor & Christine’s Leoness Cellars Temecula, CA Winery Wedding
I met Daniel & Jasmin well over a year ago for the first time and when I hear all about their wedding I just knew that it would be beautiful, fun and full of family that was ready to have a good time. Living so close to Heritage Park I was looking forward to photographing their wedding and the venue didn't disappoint. It really was perfect for this super stylish and gorgeous couple. Jasmin's dress and veil was the ultimate compliment to the parks background and vibe and can we just talk about Daniel's amazing maroon tuxedo? Wishing you both the best always!

Daniel & Jasmin's wedding day is in a few weeks so what better time to share their engagement session! When Jasmin mentioned the type of vibe she was going for with her images I knew that the Redwoods area of Carbon Canyon Regional Park would be the perfect backdrop. When she showed up wearing that killer burgundy dress I knew it was going to be a good session! Daniel & Jasmin have such a natural and easy way with each other that most of our time together was just walking and talking and they needed very little posing or help with what to do! I know that their wedding day will be just the same and I can't wait to share it with everyone.
As I'm coming up on my 2018 wedding season I've had a chance to take a breath and reflect on my past weddings from last year and I can't believe that I got so caught on the day to day life of running a business that I have been remiss in sharing so many beautiful weddings! So it's my goal to get these up here and out into the universe. I just love when I have the chance to shoot in Temecula, CA in one of their beautiful wineries and Steven & Carman's gorgeous vineyard wedding at Callaway was no exception. I've had the pleasure of photographing Carman's brother and sisters wedding so this day felt like family. No detail was forgotten and it was such a gorgeous day!

Marc & Ali's wedding day was such a gorgeously beautiful Southern California day by the water. The Portofino provided the perfect backdrop for their nautical styled wedding with all their best friends and family by their side. It didn't hurt to end the day with the quintessential California treat...the In N Out Truck :).
Ceremony: St. James

Sometimes when I meet a couple the day of the wedding for the first time there can be some awkwardness and getting use to each other before everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. Lance & Kathleen were not that case. From the moment I met them I could see their love, warmth and excitement to be husband and wife. It was a beautiful day at Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach, California. Weather was perfect, everyone had a wonderful time and we made some beautiful memories.

All weddings that I photograph have a special place in my heart but this one was a little more special for me. Courtney is my best friends youngest sister and I have known her for about 10 years. I've seen the beginning of her relationship with Ben all the way to their engagement and they are a perfect match for each other. So naturally I was extremely honored and excited when they asked me to photograph their wedding and even more thrilled to hear that it would be held in Ben's hometown outside of Boston, MA. I don't get the opportunity to travel often for weddings but when I do it's always such a treat. Now when I say this was a backyard wedding you have to understand that this backyard was HUGE and beautiful complete with a lake...what a photographers dream!
One of the biggest decisions when first starting my business 7 years ago was designing a logo and deciding how I wanted my site to look. It was a fun and daunting project but I loved the end result and it's worked for me for years. But we all change over time personally as well as in our business and it was time for me to refresh and update both my branding and my website design. This was not a process I went into lightly and I actually had been considering it for the last year or so and constantly looking at designers, other sites, platforms, etc to decide what direction I wanted to go in. When it was time to pull the trigger and get going I enlisted the help of Alyssa Joy & Co to guide me through this journey. I won't bore you with all the details but it was such an exciting (and scary) process for me to make this vision come to life but I'm so happy I embarked on it and I love the end result! Thank you also to Melissa at Brand Meets Copy for helping my words come to life and for all the countless eyes that helped me along the way (you know who you are!).
So now to the good stuff!! To announce my big website and branding change I would love to do a giveaway to one lucky winner. I am gifting a free mini session (30 minute session, up to 5 people, 30 digital images). Temecula has become such a hot spot for California winery weddings and from the beautiful venues you can see why. Typically my wedding season doesn't start until Spring but this year it started January 1st with Brian & Nikki's beautiful wedding day at The Estate on Second in Santa Ana. I absolutely loved their attention to detail and how everything they incorporated was so perfectly suited for this venue. They even had their beloved dogs celebrate the big day!!

Even though I have shot several weddings at The Center Club in Costa Mesa every time I am there I find a new little spot that I love. Brandon & Teresa were such a fun couple and absolutely adorable together. Their beautiful yellow motif just made this such a gorgeous Spring backdrop for their perfect day.
Getting Ready: Hilton Costa Mesa
Venue: Center Club

One of the fun things about being a wedding a photographer is seeing how a couple thinks outside of the box and makes their day their own. Nobody says you have to be traditional and do things the same and I loved that Fernando & Audriana bucked that tradition and had some fun with their Converse shoes, non-traditional Father/Daughter dance and the In N Out truck! The venue at Crafted was a perfect blank canvas for designing it all to be exactly what they wanted for their wedding day.
Getting Ready: Doubletree San Pedro
Ceremony: St Margaret Mary Catholic Church

Cake: Torrance Bakery

Now that my wedding season has officially come to an end it's the time to start catching up on all the beautiful weddings that I've shot and I've been so eager to blog. First was Ruben and Mari who were married earlier this year at the stunning and iconicSt. Andrews in Pasadena. This church was the perfect setting for such a classically timeless bride like Maria...I mean did you see her dress??? It was such a beautiful day and I enjoyed all the fun and dancing that followed their ceremony at Diamond Bar Gold Course.

With the summer season of weddings in full swing there is little time left for anything more than shooting, culling, editing, emails, meetings...and repeat :). So my poor blog has been neglected once again and that makes me so sad when I have so many lovely shoots to share. I will do my best to rectify that starting with Anthony & Daniela's Downtown Los Angeles engagement session.
My Spring & Summer wedding season is in full swing! I'm so excited to share some beautiful wedding memories with you all (hopefully someone is still reading!). You can't go wrong with an old classic truck, orange groves, a gorgeous sunset and fun with family and the best of friends.
